Who We Are - FAQs

You should see a counselor when you sense that your relationships with God, others, and yourself are spiraling downward despite your best efforts;

when you recognize that your beliefs about life are colored by earthly perspectives and foolish judgments, that you can’t seem to correct on your own.

When you find yourself yielding to purposes and actions that go against your beliefs, test your integrity, and have you questioning your sanity, but you can’t seem to change your direction.

Sometimes life can begin to feel off balance, every day experiences cause stress or feeling of distress - having an opportunity to talk to someone removed from personal situations, who can offer an objective point of view and provide an opportunity to learn new coping skills - it can help a person regain their balance.

What is Caring - Counseling?

Caring-Counseling is meant to be service-focused and client-centered. It is an opportunity for the client and counselor to work together to :

  • unpack the pain that brought the client to counseling,
  • to learn new coping skills for healthier living, and
  • to move onto a pathway to peace.

Christian counselors can do this:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 states:

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work”.
